Morris to Replace 130-Year-Old Water Storage Tank

The village of Morris now has the financial go ahead for water-management projects including construction of a water storage tank.

The US Department of Agriculture has awarded Morris a $2.475 million water and waste disposal grant. Of this, $1.725 million is a loan and the rest, $750,000, is a grant. The new tank will replace the existing tank that is 130 years old.
