The honorable Village of Oxford Mayor, Terry M. Stark, has officially proclaimed November as “Oxford Recycles Month.” This observance was designed to coincide with the state’s “NY Recycles” and the national “America Recycles Day” held every year on November 15. It also coincides with the sixteenth annual Recycled Holiday Ornament Contest which will soon kick off at the Oxford Academy Primary School with notices in Friday Folders. Mayor Stark calls upon the people of the Village of Oxford and its environs to observe November with appropriate programs and activities. Oxford Academy will be spreading the message of recycling with students during “Oxford Recycles Month.”
