Margaretville Historical Marker Honors Cauliflower Industry

A historical marker will be unveiled in Margaretville (Delaware County) which will pay tribute to the region's past history as a leading grower of some of the best cauliflower grown in America. The date of the event is September 27 at 2:00 pm.

The industry started decades ago and some of the county's best cauliflower was shipped to the major markets along the east coast, including New York City, where it was praised for its high quality.
