Thursday night on Main Street in Oneonta is an annual holiday event. Here is co-chair of Main Street of Oneonta Rachel Lutz Jessup.

"It's the annual tree lighting event from 5-8 p.m. on Main Street in the plaza," Jessup said. "We have carolers, we have reindeer. The alpacas will be there this year, a horse drawn wagon ride, and Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus will be there in their cottage. And, of course, at 6 p.m. the Mayor will flip the switch on the tree."

Jessup, says along with the holiday carolers there will also be dancers and refreshments including hot chocolate for everyone to enjoy.
