A report from the American Lung Association says lung cancer patients in New York State are among the most likely to be diagnosed early, complete surgery and survive the disease. The Association’s first ever ‘State of Lung Cancer’ report ranked New York 21st in the country for the incidence of lung cancer and the state leads the country in the five-year survival rate. New York is ranked fourth when it comes to early diagnosis of lung cancer.
