The assistant director for international relations for the U.S. Office of Science & Technology Policy, will give the keynote address tomorrow at SUNY Oneonta’s annual Student Research & Creative Activity Day.

The 1976 SUNY Oneonta graduate Joan Rolf will give a talk titled, “Periodic Table: Elements of a Successful Career” at 12:30 p.m. in the Hunt Union Ballroom, which will be filled with student exhibits of scholarly and creative work.
Admission is free and members of the community are invited to attend.

Created to recognize and promote undergraduate scholarship and creative activity, Student Research & Creative Activity Day has become the premier on-campus event for academic student exhibition. A total of 141 students, supported by 60 faculty sponsors, are scheduled to participate in this year’s event, which will feature presentations on topics ranging from gender stereotyping to near-Earth asteroids.

Displays and exhibits will be available for viewing from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
