
Upcoming Roadwork Announced For These Ulster County, NY Roads
Now that it truly feels like spring if not summer in the Hudson Valley, we can venture outdoors again! There are so many beautiful nature trails to check out, outdoor concerts to attend and more.
While we’re out and about, we may come across construction or roadwork throughout the Hudson Valley.
Upcoming Roadwork Announced For Ulster County, NY Roads
Thankfully, social media allows us to connect with one another and learn about what’s going on in the Hudson Valley. This is great for ourselves and to send to others as well.
The City of Kingston does a great job at keeping us updated about their city, town and parts of Ulster County too. Recently, they made a post on social media that is giving us a heads up about upcoming roadwork. We can now plan to take different routes to avoid any detours. At the same time, we can look forward to driving on newly paved roads within Ulster County, woohoo!
Roadwork To Begin This Month On These Kingston, NY Roads
The City of Kingston highlighted that paving will begin on local roads this month. They shared that we can expect this on Charlotte Street from Roosevelt Avenue to North Manor Avenue. Additional roadwork will take place on Harrison Street from Charlotte Street to Jefferson Avenue as well.
The upcoming paving continues to Amsterdam Avenue from Lipton Street to Kiersted Ave in Kingston, NY. The City of Kingston continued to share that roadwork for this month will also include Westrum Street from Albany Avenue to Clarendon Avenue and more!
They also explained that the milling part of this project will start on Monday, April 27, 2026. The paving process is expected to be completed by Friday, May 1, 2026. The City of Kingston mentioned that there may be detours during the upcoming roadwork within the area.
What Other Upcoming Projects Will Take Place In Kingston, NY?
The City of Kingston continued to share some helpful information about upcoming roadwork. On Facebook, they explained that there will be a gas line replacement by Central Hudson which will take place on Albany Avenue to South Manor’s intersection. This will be on the week of April 27, 2026.
Also, the NYSDOT will be working within Kingston on the sidewalks from Albany Avenue to St. James Court to Flatbush Avenue. The City of Kingston continued to share additional roadwork projects for the 2026 season.
