I hope that you've been soaking up the sunshine, taking in the natural beauty of the area and all that summer has to offer! There are ways that we can cool off in the Hudson Valley including public pools, lakes and beaches.
We Can Visit These Beaches Here In The Hudson Valley

I have always heard about the Kingston Point Beach in Kingston being the favorite beach to visit in the Hudson Valley. I was invited to go to Lake Superior State Park and instantly fell in love! Not only was this a beach that we could relax at but they also have kayaks and pedalboats for us to rent. There's a park on site as well.
In addition to those beaches, we can also visit the Saugerties Village Beach in Saugerties. There's a secret beach in Orange County that only some locals know about!
Orange County's Best Kept Secret Beach Is Now Open For The Summer
On social media, I saw Hudson Valley residents posting pictures and chatting about this beach in Orange County. They were talking about how they liked it and it was somewhere that I have never been to before. Being the summer and beach lover that I am, I wanted to learn more!
West End Beach is located at 14 Ferry Street in Port Jervis, NY. I LOVE NY shared that this Orange County beach is open to the community for swimming and fishing. On site, they also have a playground for kids and softball field as well.
The Rec office can provide more information about hours of this beach.
What Else Can We Do In Port Jervis, NY?
Also in Port Jervis, we can check out the splash pad there as well. The Port Jervis Recreation included on social media that we can visit this splash pad in the City of Port Jervis at Church Street Park. This is open to the public each day from 11am until 7pm for some summer fun!
One place I always recommend is Hawk's Nest Highway! In the summer, the beautiful scenery and views of the Delaware River make it an ideal spot for taking pictures or simply relaxing and seeing the surrounding natural beauty.
There are also local eateries for us to enjoy as well! Have fun this summer.
