The wait is over, we can now get stamps with one of our favorite celebrities on it. She was an icon, some would also say a TV legend. I loved watching her show, The Golden Girls and I still enjoy seeing it on TV today.

Betty White stamps are now available for purchase with the U.S. Postal Service They are also selling Betty White notecards, postcards, a stamp portfolio and more.

Not only should Betty White fans head to their local post office to grab these, but to stock up on additional items as well.

94.3 Lite FM shared information from the U.S Postal Service in November 2024. This included the possibility for a price increase in 2025.

More information has been released about what we can expect from the postal services this year. 

U.S Postal Services stated that this change in 2025 would raise the services of shipping by over 3 percent for Priority Mail and Priority Mail express. In addition to that, those who use USPS Ground Advantage would see almost a 4 percent increase in price along with over 9 percent of Parcel Select.

Which Items Would Have A Price Increase With The U.S. Postal Service?

There are changes that the U.S Postal Service could implement this year. This proposal included Forever Stamps and a 5 cent increase.

USA Today explained that if this was approved by the PRC, the Postal Regulatory Commission then the changes would start on July 13, 2025.

They included,

“Changes would increase mailing service product prices by 7.4%, the postal service said in a news release.”

There’s a complete list of the increased pricing postal which does include First Class Mail Forever stamps starting at 73 cents and increasing to 78 cents.

I haven’t sent a postcard is so long, this began as 56 cents and we would then pay 62 cents. Letters would increase from 69 cents to 74 cents.

If this proposal goes through, we'll need to bring more than just a few bucks with us to the post office. It would be a good idea for us to stock up on these over the next couple of months and save some money!

Why Would There Be Price Increases With The U.S. Postal Service?

The U.S. Postal Service explained that there have been changes not only with shipping but with mailing items as well.

They explained their goal, 

“These price adjustments are needed to achieve the financial stability sought by the organization’s Delivering for America 10-year plan. “

The U.S. Postal Service continued to explain that their prices are unbeatable and are “the most affordable in the world”.
