New York State Police made some unsettling discoveries during an investigation in Upstate New York recently.

While investigating a man they accused of possessing images consistent with child sexual exploitation, they learned that his brother allegedly sexually abused a cow while working at a dairy farm.

Sources say Christopher Banks was a cafeteria worker fired by the Harpursville Central School District. However, the Harpursville superintendent told parents that "the crime did not involve students from the district."

A search warrant was executed at Banks's house in Nineveh, New York, about an hour and 45 minutes southwest of Albany.

The investigation determined that Banks was found to have images consistent with child sexual exploitation.

Other Brother Arrested for Sexual Misconduct with Cow

During the investigation, it was revealed that Chris's brother, Mark G. Banks, age 38 of Nineveh, NY, sexually abused a dairy cow while employed at a farm in the town of Colesville. State Police say that Banks was charged with the misdemeanor of Sexual Misconduct.

In New York, sexually abusing an animal is considered sexual misconduct and is a class A misdemeanor. This carries a maximum penalty of one year in jail and/or a $1,000 fine.
