Inside Herbie’s Clubhouse As They Prep For Grand Opening
In my travels, there are very few local eateries that have captured the same fervor as Herbie's Burgers. There's something about the retro-inspired stores and mouthwatering hamburgers that just drives the Capital Region crazy.
Now, Herbie's is opening a one-of-a-kind store that combines their love of good food and throwback style into one unforgettable location.
Herbie's Clubhouse
On October 16th, Herbie's will officially officially open Herbie's Clubhouse, a combined restaurant and arcade bar in Albany. It's at the site of the old Bombers Burrito Bar, at 258 Lark Street. The idea is simple, the first floor is a standard Herbie's restaurant, but the second floor is an 80s-style arcade bar, complete with games, cocktails, and a lot of neon.

The clubhouse will be open seven days a week from 12pm to 2am, giving you ample time to see everything the location has to offer.

Deep Dive with Nick Warchol
On the 15th, I got the chance to catch up with Herbie's founder, Nick Warchol.
Full Interview with Nick Warchol
Nick, and the entire Herbie's team is thrilled for the grand opening, and says there's more than just burgers this weekend. A DJ will be on site for the Grand Opening ceremonies, and they'll be reinstating their Golden Burger contest.
What's the Golden Burger? One order number is chosen before the contest, and whoever gets that order number will win free Herbie's Burgers for a year (52 free vouchers).
This clubhouse is a major step forward for the franchise, and while nothing's set, Nick told me there's a chance more of these clubhouses pop up in the near future.
