Hattie's In Wilton Closes Its Doors For Good
So I am sure there will be many local families and fried chicken aficionados who will be sad to learn that Hattie's Chicken Shack on Route 50 has closed for good after 15 years in business. According to a Times Union report, the news was revealed to Hattie's employees on Monday, though no reason was given for the closure. It will still be business as usual at Hattie's restaurants in Albany and Saratoga Springs, as well as at Saratoga Race Course, where that location will soon open for the Belmont Stakes.
Thankfully, we still have plenty of Hattie's options to enjoy that stellar chicken. But I will miss those family trips to the Chicken Shack!
