Mechanicville Teenagers Arrested For Using A E-Bike To Spin A Merry-Go-Round
Two Mechanicville juveniles, ages 14 and 15, were arrested after connecting an electric bike to a merry-go-round, which resulted in serious injuries to a 12-year-old on the merry-go-round.
According to an update from News Channel 13, the 12-year-old is "making progress" after several surgeries.
Mechanicville Police responded to the scene on April 30th, and officers began life-saving measures, aided by a Good Samaritan on the scene. Clifton Park and Halfmoon EMS Paramedics also arrived and began helping. The boy was taken to Albany Medical Center Hospital for treatment.
The two boys at fault were arrested and taken into custody on May 1st.
