Registration is now open for the Saratoga County Deputy Sheriff Patrol and Police Officer exam.
What Are The Requirements?
Applicants must be between 19 and 43 years old. They must have a high school diploma or GED and file a Civil Service application.
The deadline to register is September 16th, 2026. The exam will take place on October 17th, 2026, giving applicants time to prepare for this first step toward a career in law enforcement.
Other Jobs Are Available
There are also many paths available within the Sheriff’s Office. Specialized units include K9, the dive team, marine patrol, SWAT, bicycle patrol, the motor unit, criminal investigations, and the drone unit.
Other opportunities include becoming a school resource officer or working with snowmobile and ATV patrol, special enforcement, or accident reconstruction.
