Albany Is Calling On All Artists To Design The Next Voting Sticker
We're still a ways away from major elections here in Albany County, but politics never sleeps. It seems that no one can get along at the voting booth anymore, aside from one small thing...
We all love getting those small "I Voted " stickers, and it's even better when they're personalized. Now, Albany's giving you the chance to mark your place in history.

Albany County Sticker Design Contest
Starting on Monday, March 16th, Albany opened up the latest edition of their "I Voted" sticker design contest. The requirements are simple: only students (both homeschooled and traditionally) are allowed to enter, every entry must have the words "I Voted" somewhere on it, they must be original pieces of art, and must be nonpartisan, showing no favoritism to one political party of the other.
Submissions are required to be able fit on a 2-inch sticker, and should be submitted as vector files, or high-resolution JPG files with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi.
What Else to Know
The entries will be judged on artistic skill, meaningful themes, and the uniqueness of the design submitted. Designs must be submitted before June 10th, 2026, and can be dropped off at The Harold L. Joyce Albany County Office Building, or via email at AlbanyCountyIVoted@albanycountyny.gov.
Public voting will run from August 3rd to August 31st, 2026. If you think you have what it takes, grab your art supplies, and get to creating! best of luck to every student who enters this year, and we can't wait to see the winning design at the polls!
