The final season of the Netflix hit 'Stranger Things' officially debuted on November 26, 2025.

If you're like me, you blew through those first four episodes so fast and are now awaiting the next episode drop, which will happen on Christmas Day, 12/25. Those next three episodes will lead to the big finale of the show, which will debut on New Year's Eve, 2025.

Unlike the rest of the seasons of this show, which dumped all the episodes on us at once they're forcing us to wait for these last few on the final season. They're even going out with a bang and showing the final episode in select theaters on December 31st, and January 1st.

Where to watch in Albany?

You'll be able to watch Eleven, Mike, Will, Lucas, Dustin, and the while gang do battle with Vecna aka Henry aka One at Albany's Spectrum Theatre.

There will be multiple showing of the big 'Stranger Things' finale at the Spectrum in Albany. First showing is at 8pm on 12/31. Then on 1/1 you'll be able to catch it at three different showtimes, 12:30pm, 4pm, and 7:30pm. Ring in the new year in the upside down. It sounds pretty fun to me.

Albany's Spectrum Theatre is located at 290 Delaware Ave, Albany, NY 12209. In my opinion, they have the best popcorn of any theater in the entire Capital Region, and I will die on that hill.

Hopefully I will see you at the Spectrum for the big ending and see if ay of those internet theories will come true about this show. The biggest one that I have seen so far is that they filmed the original cast back in 2016 playing Dungeons and Dragons and the entire thing has been a big campaign. If that is true, I will hate this show forever. Don't pull the "it was all a dream" with us.
