I want to start out this article by stating that I love both of these local places. Robb's Topp Doggs has some of the best hot dogs in the whole entire Capital Region and I have always enjoyed getting a slice from Paesan's. Now their fighting and I feel like I'm a child of divorce.

It all started when Robb's Topp Doggs posted the following on their Facebook page early Wednesday morning.

I totally understand the frustration in Robb's post. Having a small business is tough, and finding a marketing formula can be a tough thing to narrow down. However naming the other businesses may have gotten him the wrong attention .

Side note

Robb's Topp Doggs has amazing mac salad. Go there and get some along with a hot dog or three.

Anyone who has been following along with the Paesan's Pizza Facebook and Instagram page know that Frankie Paesan is not the type of guy to ignore something like this. Of course he had to let the folks at Robb's Topp Doggs have it in his own socila media post.

I don't like to see two places going at it like that, especially when they are two places I really love to go to. That Brooklyn Cobb slice at Paesan's might be one of my favorite pizzas in the entire Northeast.

You wanted to be internet famous… congrats, here you are.
No upside for me on this one. Free STUNAD UNIVERSITY lesson. You can thank me later.
After seeing the Paesan's post I got a little nervous but I think that Robb's Topp Doggs handled it pretty well by replying in the way that they did.
Thank you for sharing and promoting me to your customers! I appreciate it!
I hope these two are able to work things out and move forward because I want to see all of our Capital Region businesses thrive.
My suggestion? Go to Robb's Topp Doggs for lunch and get a New Yorker and some of their mac salad (like I stated above it is fantastic). Head to Paesan's for dinner and get a whole pie. Maybe we can help with that olive branch that needs to be extended.
Love you both!
