Albany’s Bitchin’ Donuts Is Officially Back Open
It's been a few weeks since a fire burned through a building on Albany's Lark Street. That fire caused serious damage to the store below and that store happened to be Bitchin' Donuts. Smoke and water damage made it impossible form them to continue operating and they needed to find a new location quickly.
Through community support Bitchin' Donuts has been able to make a comeback, and quickly! They've got a new spot up and running right in Albany.
The new location that Bitchin' Donuts is operating out of is still in Albany off of Delaware Avenue. It's not too far from their Lark Street shop.

According to their post on Instagram this is just a light opening. The hours posted were 8am-3pm. They've got some of their signature items and drip coffee available. I was fortunate to be able to grab a couple of donuts on my way in today. I had to go with the best donut on earth, the strawberry frosted, and I also got their maple glazed. Both of them are absolutely fantastic.
One thing you'll notice going into this new spot is that it is very stripped down compared to their previous location, but won't be for long.
Things might look a little modest for now, and we may be a tiny bit out of sorts getting used to the new space 😳 but we’re here, we’re rolling, and we’re ready.
They sure looked ready when I stopped by, and I hope that many of you also did. I'm very happy to see this awesome local business back up and running and serving the community. When you're fortunate enough to have a great local business the only way to make sure they remain is to get out and support them.
Bitchin' Donuts also has a second location that will be opening up on Central Avenue soon.
