Stewart’s Shops Just Keeps Winning Awards as One of the Best in North America
Stewart’s Shops is celebrating another huge accomplishment after bringing home some serious hardware from this year’s World Dairy Expo.
Stewart’s Shops has long been one of the Hudson Valley’s favorite convenience stores to visit for just about everything. Most of us already know that each store is packed with some of the best coffee, snacks, and food to go. But did you know that when you stop at Stewart’s for a milkshake or ice cream, you're enjoying products that are now being recognized as some of the best in North America?

Stewart’s Shops Wins Big at 2026 World Dairy Expo
Stewart’s Shops is celebrating after bringing home nine awards at the 2026 World Dairy Expo Championship Dairy Product Contest, including two first-place finishes.
And with more than 1,200 entries competing this year, that's something worth celebrating. Stewart’s had another impressive showing at the World Dairy Expo in Wisconsin, where some of the best dairy products and producers from across North America competed for top honors.
The Stewart’s Chocolate Dairy Shake won first place in the open class flavored milk competition, while the Mango Dragon Fruit Sherbet took first place in the sherbet category.
And they weren't done there.
Stewart’s earned second place for French Vanilla Ice Cream, Regular Chocolate Ice Cream, and Raspberry Fudge Torte Frozen Yogurt. They also picked up third-place awards for Bark in the Dark in the Dark Chocolate Ice Cream category, Mint Cookie Crumble in Mint Ice Cream, Adirondack Bear Paw in Open Class with Nuts, and Mousse Trail in Open Class Ice Cream.

Why I Love Stewart’s
I'll admit it: I'm a big fan of Stewart’s.
There's just something about Stewart’s Shops that feels like home around here. Whether you're stopping for your morning coffee, grabbing a quick snack, picking up some milk, or deciding that you absolutely need an ice cream cone, Stewart’s has become part of everyday life for so many of us in the Hudson Valley.
And it's not just because the products are good.
I love that behind that cup of coffee or pint of ice cream are local, family-run farms and people who take a lot of pride in what they do.
Stewart’s says these awards are a true honor and a testament to the skill, dedication, and hard work of the local New York farms that supply its milk. The company also credits its partners for helping bring high-quality milk and ice cream to customers every day.
Congratulations to everyone at Stewart’s and all of the local farmers who helped make these awards possible.
