Spoons Ice Cream in Eastdale Village Sold
Things are changing at a popular ice cream shop in Eastdale Village.
Spoons Ice Cream is changing hands. Owners Kellie and Alyssa took to social media to announce "BIG news to share."
Kellie and Alyssa shared that they have "made the decision to sell" Spoons. In the statement they write:
we have had the BEST time these last 6 years figuring out HOW to own a business and running Spoons.
They add that it's a bittersweet feeling, but they are confident that this is the right move for them.
Spoons has been open since 2020 and bringing delicious ice cream options to the Hudson Valley. They've created some mouth watering concoctions like a Fruit Roll Up stuffed ice cream and a pickle and peanut butter creation that caused quite a social media stir.
They also made beautiful cakes!
The statement goes on to thank the employees and the customers who supported them through it all. Kellie and Alyssa round out their goodbye statement with the following:
We genuinely could not have done it without you all. Please join us in welcoming the new owners! We have nothing but the highest confidence that you’re all in good hands - we’ll miss you but we’ll see you “spoon” I’m sure!
What's Next For Spoons in Eastdale Village?
Now that Spoons is in the hands of new owners...what's next? Thankfully, Spoons is staying put in Eastdale Village. We spoke to the new owner, Jamie, who tells us there's a lot of fun in store at the Eastdale Village ice cream shop. Jamie tells us "Spoons has long been a cherished part of the community, built from the ground up with passion." She adds
Our family is excited to carry that legacy forward—preserving its heart while introducing new experiences and unique offerings, for both loyal guests and new fans.
Spoons will officially reopen for the season on March 14th, 2026. Jamie says to keep an eye out for some limited time offers available before Spoons opens for the season. We can't wait to see what Jamie and Dale have in store for Spoons in 2026!
Sweet Treats are The Vibe at Eastdale Village
The newest shop in Eastdale Village is a sweet one. Fruition Chocolate just opened up their doors. Fruition Chocolate announced in December that they would be opening a store front in the popular shopping center. On social media their founders wrote:
“We are thrilled to open Fruition Chocolate Works at Eastdale Village! We are happy to showcase our bars, bon bons, and hot chocolate. Espresso menu coming soon."
They officially opened their doors at the end of January 2026 and it looks like the Eastdale community is welcoming them with open arms:
