Sasquatch Festival and Calling Contest Returns This September
Bigfoot enthusiast have the opportunity to celebrate their favorite mythical creature.
The Sasquatch Festival is returning to Whitehall, New York this September. This years event will be held on Saturday September 26th, 2026.
Sasquatch enthusiast will head out to Waterfront Park, Skenesborough Park, for a day full of fun activities. On hand there will be Sasquatch researchers, Bigfoot merchandise live music, a beer garden, food trucks and over 125 vendors.
The Sasquatch Festival is a family friendly event, pet friendly too, and completely free of charge for admission.
Most importantly they will be hosting their annual Sasquatch Calling Contest.

Recent Bigfoot Activity in the Hudson Valley
While we patiently wait to celebrate the Sasquatch Festival, there's plenty of Bigfoot activity happening locally.
The team at Bigfoot Researchers of The Hudson Valley shared interesting video recently of an investigation they conducted in Dutchess County.

Gayle Beatty and her team were asked to come to a home in Pine Plains where a homeowner shared that they were experiencing "strange phenomena."
The strange phenomena included spirits, UFOs and Bigfoot noises. They did capture something interesting on SRX cameras, but Beatty tells us they believe that was a spirit and not Bigfoot.
