CARE of DC took in 7 of the rescued dogs and asked the public to help in rehabilitating the dogs. The Wappinger Falls rescue was in need of dog food and monetary donations to "cover veterinary care, medications, vaccinations, and future spay/neuter surgeries once the dogs are healthy enough for these procedures."

The community came together to help these pups, and now they're ready to find their forever families.
