Our friends at Moonrise Bagels are celebrating National Cheesesteak Day the only way they know how.

On social media Moonrise announced the return of their Philly Cheesesteak stuffed bagel. Moonrise Bagels Philly Cheesesteak is stuffed with high-quality shaved beef, caramelized onions, and their house cheese sauce.

The return of the Philly Cheesesteak Moonrise Bagel is for a limited time only...today, Tuesday March 24th, 2026.

They're also only available at the Poughkeepsie and New York City.

Is The Kingston, NY Moonrise Location Open?

In December 2025, as the brutally cold weather blew through the Hudson Valley, Moonrise Bagels made an announcement about one of their 4 locations.

The Moonrise Bagels location in Kingston, New York was closing their doors. . .

Thankfully the closure is only temporary. At the time Moonrise wrote on social media:

With winter officially here, we’ve decided to take a seasonal pause at our lil’ take-out window in Kingston.

Since the Kingston location is so small, it would get very cold. Moonrise decided to put their team first.

Moonrise said they would reopen again in the Spring. Spring is officially here and we're patiently waiting for news regarding the Kingston location.

According to Google, they're still temporarily closed and judging from how cold the weather has been...we think it may take a few more weeks.

Moonrise NYC Location Wins Over Manhattan

When one door closes, another one opens. As the Kingston location closed temporarily in December 2025, the 4th Moonrise Bagels location officially opened their doors.

This time the location ventured out of the Hudson Valley and down to New York City.  Owners Ali and Jeremy thanked their Hudson Valley community that helped them grow this incredible business to where it is now.

Bagel lovers flocked to the new location and they're still the buzz of the town. Recently, Moonrise was featured on Good Morning America and The Drew Barrymore Show.

You can visit the Moonrise Bagel location in NYC at 58 W 8th Street, open 7 am to 3  pm daily.
