‘Stranger Things’ Actress Maya Hawke Reveals She’s Moved to Upstate New York
Netflix Star Moves to Upstate, New York
We know that the Hudson Valley and Upstate, New York have been popular vacation spots for celebrities.
A few months ago, Justin Bieber was spotted in Millbrook after back-to-back weekends at Coachella. Many believe the singer has a home in the area.
The region is the perfect place to escape the bright lights of Hollywood and New York City.

Looks like we can add a new neighbor to our Hudson Valley resume. Maya Hawke of 'Stranger Things' fame is calling Upstate, New York home. At least for now.
In a recent interview with Parade, Hawke tells the publication "“I just got myself a home a couple of blocks away from my mom" adding "I'm so excited to finally be able to put some roots down."
Parade goes on to report that Hawke has moved to "Upstate, New York."
Hawkes mother is none other than Kill Bill actress, Uma Thurman. Thurman is rumored to live in the Ulster County area of Woodstock. Back in October 2025, Thurman joined the Woodstock Film Festival Board.
We're biased and of course think the Hudson Valley is a great place to live, but it's also close to work for Hawke.
