Upstate, NY Haunted Attraction Damaged in Summer Blaze

Back in July 2026, a haunted attraction in Upstate New York suffered from a devastating fire.

Field of Horrors in Troy, New York took to social media on July 20th, 2026, and shared "Today has been one of the most difficult days in Field of Horrors history. Earlier today, our haunted attraction suffered a devastating fire."

22 fire departments were on the scene to battle the blaze.

With that being said, Field of Horrors knew that they would rebuild and be ready for the 2026 spooky season.

And they did just that!

Field of Horrors in Troy, New York Ready For Spooky Season After Fire

Field of Horrors is ready to bring the scares for spooky season!

In early September 2026 Field of Horrors wrote on Facebook "From the ashes, we’re coming back **scarier than ever.** " The statement continued:

Since the fire back in July, our team has been working **day and night** rebuilding, constructing, and bringing Field of Horrors back to life.
The fire may have changed our plans, but it didn’t stop the scares. If anything… it gave us a reason to come back **bigger, darker, and even more terrifying.

Sounds like this year Field of Horrors is coming back with vengeance.

2 New Attractions Added to Field of Horrors Roster

Field of Horrors is coming back strong with 2 new haunted attractions throughout the field. We call them attractions, Field of Horrors calls them "Two new nightmares."

First up: Panic at Pinewoods. What should you expect? Well Field of Horrors writes "Enter the fog. Follow the fence. Pray the dead don’t find you first." The full description reads:

They were never supposed to be found. Forgotten bodies were sealed inside 55-gallon drums and hidden behind a chain-link storage yard. Now the barrels are breaking open, freezing fog fills the maze, and something is reaching through the fence.
Once the gate locks behind you, there’s only one way out.

Next, guests will experience Night Stalkers.  Which doesn't sound terrifying at all, right? "Once the stalkers find you, there's nowhere left to hide" that's how Field of Horrors is teasing this new installment.

Field of Horrors gives a full run down:

Descend into an abandoned basement where no one was ever meant to go. The deeper you venture, the darker it gets — and something down there has been waiting for you.
You’ll hear it. You’ll feel it following you. And by the time you realize you’re not alone… it may already be too late.

Will you be brave enough to enter the Field of Horrors? Tickets are available now and previews being September 26th. Learn more at TicketTailor.com.
