
Two Busted After Shoplifting Spree at CVS in Orange County, NY
Two suspects are in custody after allegedly filling bags with merchandise at a CVS in Orange County and walking out without paying.
According to the Town of Cornwall Police Department, officers were called to the CVS Pharmacy at 65 Quaker Avenue around 8:15 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8th, for a reported larceny in progress.
Shoplifters Steal $5k in Merchandise From CVS in Orange County, NY
When officers arrived, employees told them two individuals had walked into the store, filled multiple bags with merchandise, and then simply walked out without paying. The suspects then took off in a blue Jeep, which led police to quickly alert nearby law enforcement agencies.
It didn’t take long for the police to track them down.
A short time later, a Town of Highlands Police patrol unit spotted a vehicle matching the description and pulled it over on Route 9W near Stony Lonesome Road.
Police Recover Stolen Items
During the stop, officers say they found a large amount of stolen merchandise inside the vehicle, mostly over-the-counter medications like Claritin, Bayer, Flonase, Allegra, and Zyrtec. In total, the items were valued at approximately $5,048.

Two Brooklyn men were taken into custody:
- 37-year-old Dujuan Marshall-Green
- 36-year-old Tyreese Boomer
Both men are now facing felony charges, including third-degree grand larceny and third-degree criminal possession of stolen property. After being arrested, the two were arraigned in the City of Newburgh Court and released on their own recognizance. They’re scheduled to appear in court again at a later date.
Multiple agencies assisted in the investigation, including the Town of Highlands Police Department, the Village of Highland Falls Police Department, and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation Police.
