Town Supervisor Joseph D. Cavaccini Shares Excitement For the Wappinger Farmers Market
In speaking with Town Supervisor Joseph D. Cavaccini regarding the announcement and upcoming markets, he shared the following.
The launch of the Wappinger Farmers Market is another exciting step forward in strengthening our community and supporting local agriculture. By bringing fresh, locally sourced produce and agricultural products directly to Town Hall, we're creating a convenient, family-friendly destination that benefits both our residents and local farmers. Our Town Hall campus is centrally located and easily walkable for many of our Village residents, making it the perfect gathering place to connect with neighbors, support small businesses, and enjoy the best that the Hudson Valley has to offer. We look forward to welcoming everyone to this new community tradition and helping make fresh, local food more accessible to all.
They are still looking for additional vendors for the 19 scheduled markets, and you can get more information/inquire about being a vendor by utilizing the Vinestops website or app.
