The Broome County Department of Public Works has announced a temporary closure for the section of Tracy Creek Road in the Town of Vestal.

The closure, scheduled to begin on September 18, 2024, at 7 a.m., is necessary for the replacement of a culvert. The affected portion of Tracy Creek Road will be closed between the intersections of Jones Road and Knight Road and is anticipated to remain closed until approximately November 15, 2024, at 5 p.m.

During this period, all through traffic will be required to seek alternative routes to accommodate the road closure. To ensure the smooth flow of traffic, a signed detour route will be in place for the duration of the closure.

For any inquiries or additional information regarding this road closure, individuals are encouraged to contact Martin Haley at the Broome County Department of Public Works. Martin can be reached at (607) 778-2463 or via email at martin.haley@broomecountyny.gov.
