Man Slashed During Fight at Endicott Residence
One person was injured in a disturbance that may have involved several people inside an Endicott home.
Village police were called to 1000 Monroe Street late Thursday night to investigate a slashing incident.
Authorities said officers arrived at the scene quickly. They saw "numerous people" running from the residence.
According to a police department news release issued Friday afternoon, investigators determined there had been a fight inside the home.
A man was slashed in the face during the disturbance. Endicott police chief Patrick Garey said he was treated at Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City and released.
Investigators said the injured man and other people inside the residence refused to cooperate with police.
The scene was secured overnight and a search warrant was executed Friday morning.
Police did not release the name of the man who was injured. They said their investigation into the incident is continuing.
