Ah, the things we distinctly remember as Binghamtonians, or to expand it a bit - those of us who are native or have lived a long time in the Triple Cites and Broome & Tioga Counties.

I am not a native, but I have logged a total of 46 years as a resident of the Binghamton area. Is that enough years to consider me a member of this amazing community?

If you are a native to this section of the Southern Tier, there are some or many things you fondly remember. I thought it would be interesting to pose that question on social media as such - "If someone doesn't remember ______, they're clearly not a Binghamton Native."

What would my answer be? Well, I can think of many things, but I will answer with the nightlife back in the 70s  through the 90s with clubs and bars such as Popeyes, The Power & Light Company/The Woods, and Esprit/Eclipse. Those places bring back fond memories. If you were there, you know.

As I suspected, many responded with some very interesting answers of their own. There were memories of things and paces I was not aware of. Here is a sample of some answers I received. Do you remember, or are you not clearly a Binghamton native?
