Broome County New York Sheriff Weekly Arrests And Charges

The Broome County Sheriff's Office has released its weekly arrest report as of January 9, 2025.

The Sheriff's Office notes that this arrest report does not encompass all law enforcement activity performed by the Broome County Sheriff’s Office daily, arrests made in Broome County by other law enforcement agencies, or open and ongoing investigations by the Broome County Sheriff’s Office, the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force or other law enforcement agencies.

Murder In The 2nd Degree

Matthew Bartosik of Conklin was charged with Murder in the 2nd Degree, Attempted Murder in the 1st Degree,  Attempted Murder in the 2nd Degree, Criminal Use of a Firearm in the 1st Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd Degree, Aggravated Criminal Possession of a Weapon, and Criminal Contempt in the 1st Degree, following an investigation into a fatal shooting in the Town of Conklin.

Tampering with Physical Evidence

Jennifer Briggs of Whitney Point was charged with Tampering with Physical Evidence and Falsely Reporting an Incident in the 3rd Degree, following an investigation into a reported robbery in the Town of Triangle.

Criminal Possession

Angela Feitzinger of Windsor was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, and three counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Class A Misdemeanors, following an investigation into suspicious behavior in the Town of Windsor.

Criminal Contempt

Anthony Mendez of Endicott was charged with Criminal Contempt in the 1st Degree,  following an investigation into an on-view offense in the City of Binghamton.

Tampering With Physical Evidence

Samuel Michaels of Cuddebackville, New York was charged with Tampering with Physical Evidence, Providing a False Written Statement, and Falsely Reporting an incident in the 3rd Degree, following an investigation into a reported robbery in the Town of Triangle.

Criminal Possession

Daniel Mills of Deposit was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor, following a traffic stop in the City of Binghamton.

Criminal Trespass

Jonathan Place of Binghamton was charged with Criminal Trespass in the 3rd Degree, a Class B Misdemeanor, following a trespassing investigation in the City of Binghamton.

False Personation

Rachel Ray of the Town of Dickinson was charged with False Personation, a Class B Misdemeanor, following an investigation into an on-view offense in the City of Binghamton.

Harassment

Glenn Stevens of Harpursville was charged with Harassment in the 2nd Degree (Physical Contact), a violation, following an investigation into a dispute in the Town of Colesville.
