The Binghamton Rumble Ponies returned home to Mirabito Stadium for a six-game series with the Reading Fightin' Phils last week (June 2-7, 2026).

Tuesday, June 2 - Fightin'Phils - 3  Rumble Ponies - 0

This 2nd six-game home series in a row began on Tuesday evening at Mirabito Stadium. The Rumble Ponies lost a two-hit shutout to the Fightin Phils, 3-0. Left-hander Max Green got the start for Binghamton, his first start in affiliated baseball since May 27, 2023, in the Tigers organization with Single-A Lakeland, and his first Double-A Start since June 13, 2021, with Erie in the Tigers system.

He pitched four scoreless frames and just surrendered one hit and a walk while striking out one. Now, over his first four appearances across 11.2 innings pitched, he has not allowed a run while striking out nine.

Wednesday, June 3, Rumble Ponies - 16  Fightin'Phils - 11

Binghamton scored a season-high 16 runs in their longest nine-inning game of the year over Reading in a slug-fest, 16-11, during another very loud Baseball in Education Day at the ballpark. The Rumble Ponies offense had seven hitters tally multi-hit games. 

Tied 10-10 at the bottom of the seventh inning, JT Schwartz demolished his sixth homer of the year in the form of a go-ahead grand slam to give Binghamton the lead. Schwartz drove in a career-high seven runs and tallied the third grand slam of his career, his first since August 25, 2023, at New Hampshire. He also has six homers over his last 12 games.

Reading scored to open up the game on an RBI single from right fielder Raylin Heredia, but Binghamton scored nine unanswered runs to take a 9-1 lead after two innings.

Chris Suero had his second multi-hit game of the series and seventh of the year, Vincent Perozo chalked up his second multi-hit game, and TT Bowens mashed his first home run and his third multi-hit game.

Thursday, June 4 - Rumble Ponies - 2  Fightin' Phils - 1  10 Innings

The Rumble Ponies won Thursday in walk-off fashion for the sixth time this season, squeezing past Reading, 2-1, in 10 inningsIn the bottom of the 10th inning, right fielder Eli Serrano III delivered a sacrifice bunt to send catcher Chris Suero to third base. That set up second baseman D’Andre Smith, who roped a walk-off single to win it 2-1.

Binghamton tallied its sixth walk-off win of the year and its fifth extra-inning victory, and it was its third extra-inning game of the 12-game homestand. Reading and Binghamton both sent top 30 prospects to the rubber for the start.

Eli Serrano III blasted his third home run of the year. Felipe De La Cruz has gone scoreless over his last 8.0 innings and five appearances.

Friday, June 5 - Rumble Ponies - 5   Fightin' Phils - 4

Binghamton won again on Friday in walk-off fashion for the second straight night,  past  Reading, 5-4 in 10 innings. The Rumble Ponies now have seven walk-off wins this season. Binghamton went into extra innings with Reading on back-to-back nights, tied at 2-2.

Binghamton had not won an extra-inning game when trailing all year. After a single from shortstop Wyatt Young, the Rumble Ponies had two on base for catcher Chris Suero, who blasted a three-run walk-off home run to win it 5-4. The Rumble Ponies tallied their seventh walk-off win of the year, and Suero delivered their second walk-off home run.

Bryce Conley recorded the longest start for a Binghamton arm this year, and Chris Suero blasted his eighth home run and Binghamton’s second walk-off homer of the year.

Saturday, June 6 - Rumble Ponies - 4  Fightin'Phils - 1

The Rumble Ponies clinched their first series victory since April 12th by beating the Reading Fightin Phils, 4-1. Binghamton has now won four straight for the first time this season. 

Left-hander Jonathan Santucci set career highs for innings pitched and pitches thrown, notching his first win of the year. He Santucci allowed just one run and surrendered three hits over 6.2 innings, tossing 92 pitches. Right-hander Saul Garcia came in with two outs in the seventh inning and got the final out to hold Santucci’s line.

Binghamton catcher Vincent Perozo now has four multi-hit games and three home runs over his first 17 games in Double-A, and Nick Lorusso chalked up his eighth multi-hit game and second three-hit game and now leads the team in homers with nine.

Sunday, June 7 - Rumble Ponies - 4  Fightin'Phils - 2

Binghamton held off the Reading Fightin Phils on Sunday afternoon, 4-2, to take the series finale. The Rumble Ponies have won five straight games and have won their second series of the year.

Binghamton closed out the homestand going 7-5, and they are 5-1 to begin the month of June. Vincent Perozo now has five multi-hit games and four straight multi-hit games, while Nick Lorusso tallied his 24th RBI and Jacob Reimer chalked up his ninth multi-hit game.  Also, Jefry Yan now has eight strikeouts over his last 2.1 innings pitched.

The Rumble Ponies are back on the road as they land in Somerset, New Jersey, to begin a six-game series against the Patriots (Double-A, New York Yankees) beginning on Tuesday, June 9th at TD Bank Ballpark.

Tuesday's first pitch is set for 6:35 p.m., and the pre-game will kick off at 6:20 p.m.
