Free Vestal Event Helps You Build Confidence and Leadership Skills
If you’ve ever felt nervous speaking in front of people or just wanted to feel more confident, this is a great event to be a part of. Local Toastmasters groups are getting together to host the first Voices of Leadership event in Vestal. They are helping people feel more comfortable speaking, sharing ideas, and connecting with others.
What It’s Like to Attend
This isn’t a zzz sit-and-listen event. You’ll talk with people, learn new things, and try a few fun speaking activities if you want. You can watch others speak, join in simple discussions, and see how Toastmasters works. Toastmasters International helps people build confidence and get better at speaking in everyday life.
A Special Moment to Honor Someone
The event will recognize Linda Cerra for the work she does in our community. She leads Mercy House, a place that cares for people who are very sick and can’t stay at home anymore. Mercy House has helped more than 1,500 people spend their final days in a peaceful and caring place, surrounded by loved ones.
Here Is Why You Want to Go
This event is about people. It’s about learning how to speak up, meet others, and feel more confident. You don’t need any experience. You can just show up, listen, and take it all in.

When and Where
The event is happening on Saturday, April 18th, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Vestal Public Library. It’s free, open to everyone, and there will be refreshments. If you’re looking for something simple, positive, and a little different to do, this could be worth your time.
