The Binghamton Black Bears Teddy Bear Toss Night
Christmas is the time of year for giving. This Saturday, you'll have the opportunity to make a difference in a child's life in ways that you may never know. That is why, you don't want to miss the Binghamton Black Bears hockey game for three reasons.
Reason 1: Danbury Is Back In Town
The bad bunnies from Danbury are coming back to the Visions Veterans Memorial Arena. Whenever the Hat Tricks are in town, it is a physical battle and neither team will back down.
Reason 2: It's Teddy Bear Toss Night
Don't be late to the game because when the Black Bears score their first goal, the teddy bears and stuffed animals will be flying onto the ice. In 2022, they set the all-time Teddy Bear toss record not only for the FPHL, but all of professional hockey when they scored in the first 12 seconds of the game.

Reason 3: THE BEST REASON OF ALL!
The real winners are the children that will receive a stuffed teddy bear or animal because of your generosity. All of the bears and stuffed animals will be donated to the Child Advocacy Center at the Crime Victims Assistance Center.
CVAC is a safe, welcoming environment for people who have been a victim of, or affected by, crime and are located on Robinson Street in Binghamton. Last year, a little over 2,000 stuff animals were donated and with your help, we can reach 2,500 bears to cover the ice at the Visions Veterans Memorial Arena.
Face-off is at 7 p.m. and I'll be doing Chuck-a-Puck between the 2nd and 3rd period to benefit the Southern Tier Youth Hockey Association. See you Saturday and LET'S GO BLACK BEARS!
