What To Expect At Ross Park Zoo’s Free Admission Day
If you’ve been meaning to make a trip to Ross Park Zoo, here’s your chance to do it without paying for admission. On Monday, October 13th, the zoo will be open for a free Community Day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. thanks to Greenlight Networks who's footing the bill. Everyone is welcome to come spend the day and visit the animals.

Added Perks for Families
Besides free entry, there will be face painting for kids near the main entrance, thanks to a local artist from Kings Creation Face Painting. Staff members will also be on hand near the Wolf Woods Education Center and gift shop to answer questions and chat with you.
Improving Connectivity Around the Zoo
The zoo is getting some helpful upgrades too. High-traffic areas like the entrance, gift shop, administrative offices, and animal exhibits are getting faster internet service to make things run better for visitors and staff. Some exhibits will even use the faster connection to power streaming features that improve the learning experience.
A Longstanding Community Favorite
Ross Park Zoo has been part of Binghamton life for 150 years, giving families a place to relax, explore, and connect with wildlife. Offering a free day at the zoo is a way to make sure more people can enjoy it especially those who might not always have the chance.
Mark Your Calendar
Whether you’re stopping by to see the wolves, take the kids for face painting, or just enjoying a walk through the grounds, October 13th is going be a great day to visit. No tickets needed just show up and enjoy.
