Calling all riders, patriots, and supporters of our nation's heroes! On Saturday, August 24, you’re invited to join a memorable ride to benefit the Twin Tiers Honor Flight, an organization dedicated to honoring the sacrifices of American veterans. This event promises a day filled with camaraderie, patriotism, and a heartwarming visit with those who have served our country.

The day kicks off with registration at 8:30 a.m. at the Chenango Bridge Fire Department, located at 17 Kattelville Road, Binghamton. When the clock strikes 9:30 a.m., the convoy of vehicles, whether they be two wheels, three wheels, or four wheels, will set off on an adventure to the Oxford Veterans Home.  Here, participants will have the privilege of visiting the veterans, sharing stories, and expressing gratitude for their selfless service.

But the journey doesn't end there. From Oxford, the ride will continue to the Airport Inn Bar and Grill in Johnson City, where a heartwarming "Support the Cause" event awaits. The camaraderie will continue over a spread featuring chicken spiedies, ziti, salad, and a veggie dish from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. As you eat, you’ll be entertained by DJ Bob Russell and The Devon Lawton Band.

In the spirit of giving, there will also be a series of fundraising activities to further support the cause. Look forward to participating in a silent auction, a 50/50 raffle, and a raffle basket fundraiser - all on-site at the Airport Inn. Your contributions will directly benefit the Twin Tiers Honor Flight, allowing them to continue their vital mission of escorting our deserving veterans to their war memorials.

The ride for this remarkable cause is priced at $20 per person, which includes admission to the event at the Airport Inn. If you prefer to skip the ride and join us directly at the Airport Inn, a $20 ticket at the door will grant you entry to this celebration.

The Twin Tiers Honor Flight stands as a non-profit charitable organization with the sole purpose of honoring America's veterans for their unwavering sacrifices. As part of the National Honor Flight Network, they ensure that veterans are respectfully transported to Washington, D.C., so that they can visit and reflect at their memorials, all at no cost to the veteran.

Fundraisers such as this play a huge role in allowing the Twin Tiers Honor Flight to continue their noble cause of escorting our heroes to their war memorials.
