New York Fans Are Big Spenders on NFL Tickets
The Athletic recently reported that the average price of an NFL ticket went down by about $10 compared to last season. Even with that little break, tickets still aren’t cheap. To find out what fans are really willing to pay, Hard Rock Bet surveyed 2,000 NFL fans at the start of the season.
Buffalo Bills Fans Don’t Mess Around
Coming in second across the entire country, Buffalo Bills fans said they’d be willing to pay $331.33 to watch a game. That’s actually higher than the reported league average of $284. It shows just how dedicated the Bills Mafia is when it comes to packing Highmark Stadium.

Giants Fans in the Middle of the Pack
Over in New Jersey, where the New York Giants play, fans are willing to shell out about $267.54 for tickets. That puts the Giants at #15 on the national list. Not quite as wild as Bills fans, but still higher than what some other big-name teams’ fans are willing to spend.
Jets Fans a Little More Careful With Cash
Jets fans landed at #17, with an average willingness to pay of $255.43. That’s lower than both the Bills and the Giants, but still above what fans in places like Washington, D.C. or Kansas City said they would spend.
What This Says About New York Football
New York has three teams in the top 20 in ticket spending with the only "true" New York team coming in the highest. Whether it’s loyalty to the Bills, the Giants’ big city spotlight, or the Jets’ diehard fan base, New York fans are clearly willing to pay to see their teams live. That speaks to their passion but it doesn't hurt that Buffalo wins ALOT MORE than the Giants or Jets...almost combined.
