Broken B Rodeo Brings Two Days of Action to Norwich Fall Fest

My son is a rodeo kid through and through.

The minute he hears there's one happening, he wants to know who is riding, what events they're doing, and whether we can get there early enough to see everything. Something about the horses, the dirt, the crowd, and the riders giving everything they have for a few seconds of action pulls him right in.

If you have a rodeo lover in your house too, or you're looking for a different kind of family outing this weekend, grab your boots and head to Norwich. Broken B Rodeo is coming to Norwich Fall Fest at the Chenango County Fairgrounds on Saturday, October 10, and Sunday, October 11.

Broken B Rodeo will bring a sanctioned rodeo to the Chenango County Fairgrounds, 168 East Main Street in Norwich, for two days of fast-paced action.

The Saturday rodeo is scheduled for 6 p.m. Sunday’s rodeo is scheduled for 4 p.m. That gives you two chances to see it, whether Saturday night works better for your family or you want to make a Sunday afternoon of it.

Make a Day of It at the Chenango County Fairgrounds

The rodeo is exciting, but the Norwich Fall Fest has plenty going on beyond the arena.

The festival plans include a huge inflatable midway, a double mechanical bull, a dual-lane zip line, blacklight mini golf, and a rock wall. In other words, if you have kids who need to move, climb, play, and burn off some energy before sitting down for the rodeo, they should be more than covered.

And after the rodeo, you can stay for country music. Sundown is scheduled to play Saturday night, while Dirt Road Express is set for Sunday night.

Norwich Fall Fest Rodeo Tickets and Admission

Event organizers say admission to the fairgrounds is $5, and grandstand tickets for the rodeo are $10.
