Animal Adventure Park’s Final Summer Night Event In Harpursville
Animal Adventure Park is giving families one more chance to explore the zoo after hours this summer. The final Park After Dark: Family Fun Night of the season will happen this Saturday night in Harpursville.
The event brings together animals, live music, food, and activities during a time when the park is normally winding down for the day.
Live Music Comes to Animal Adventure Park
Local musician Bradford Allen will perform live while families make their way through the park. You can listen to music as you visit your favorite animals and enjoy the evening. The event is for visitors of all ages. Families can move through the park at their own pace while taking part in the extra activities throughout the night.
Food Trucks and Drinks Will Be Available
You can buy dinner, snacks, and treats from food trucks and area restaurants. Beer Tree Brew Co. will also be at the event serving adult beverages. Food and drinks are not included with park admission.
Free Face Painting and a New Ropes Course
Everyone can have their faces painted for free during the event. Guests will also have a chance to try Animal Adventure Park’s new low ropes course. The course gives visitors another activity to enjoy while spending the evening at the park.
Cooler Weather May Bring More Animal Activity
One of the biggest reasons to visit Animal Adventure Park after dark is the chance to see the animals during the cooler evening hours. Some animals may be more active once the heat of the day fades. The timing also lets families walk through the zoo during the warm light of sunset, often called the “golden hour.”
Tickets for Park After Dark
Advance tickets are not required for the final Park After Dark event. Regular general admission prices will apply, and Animal Adventure Park members can attend for free.
Animal Adventure Park is located in Harpursville, about 15 minutes from Binghamton. The walk through zoo covers 20 acres and is home to more than 100 animal species. Complete event information is available here.
