
11 From The 2025 Rumble Ponies Team On The Mets Spring Breakout Roster
Today, March 18, 2026, Matt Levine, Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations for the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, announced that 11 members of the 2025 Eastern League champion Binghamton Rumble Ponies will represent the New York Mets on their 2026 Spring Breakout official 25-man roster, according to Major League Baseball.
The New York Mets will face the Tampa Bay Rays for a Spring Breakout game this Thursday, March 19, at 7:10 p.m. at Clover Park in Port St. Lucie, Florida, which is the Mets’ Spring Training home.

The 11 players from the Binghamton Rumble Ponies 2025 championship team includes, first baseman/outfielder Ryan Clifford, outfielder/2nd baseman A.J. Ewing, right hand pitcher Saul Garcia, outfielder Nick Morabito, right hand pitcher Douglas Orellana, 3rd baseman/1st baseman Jacob Reimer, left hand pitcher Jonathan Santucci, right hand pitcher Ben Simon, outfielder D’Andre Smith, catcher/outfielder Chris Suero, and right hand pitcher Jack Wenninger.
This is the 3rd year for the four-day MLB Spring Breakout event from March 19th through the 22nd, showcasing the future of baseball with games between the best prospects in each farm system in the ballparks of the Grapefruit and Cactus Leagues.

Soon, AA pro ball will return to Binghamton, as the Rumble Ponies kick off the 2026 season on April 3 on the road against the New Hampshire Fisher Cats.
Opening day at Mirabito Stadium will be Tuesday, April 7, hosting the Somerset Patriots. Game time will be 6:07 p.m., and you can hear the game beginning with the pre-game at 5:50 p.m. on 1290 AM, 92.1 FM WNBF with Matt Levine from the Binghamton Rumble Ponies Radio Network.
