The Search is On For Missing Oneonta, New York Woman

****Per her mother, Paula has been found safe and sound****

According to a post on Facebook from Hope Alive 845, an organization that assists in providing services and support for missing, kidnapped, trafficked or exploited children and adults, Oneonta resident Paula Hoefer is missing.

Hope Alive 845's post says: "Paula was last seen on June 17,2024 in Oneonta NY, She is described as a 24 year old female, 5Ft and approx 115 Lbs, Blue eyes and Pink and Blonde Hair, she has naturally Blonde hair but sometimes dyes it different colors. she has a tattoo on the side of her neck that says "AARON" what she was wearing is unknown at this time."

Paula's mother Vicki Rubera says she hasn't heard from her since June 17th, 2024, but knew she was messaging with a friend. That individual has not heard from Paula since August 8th, 2024. She also noted that Paula is 26, and not 24 as Hope Alive 845's post indicated. Rubera says local police have been contacted, and she asks friends that have heard from Paula to get in touch with her. Rubera plans to head to Oneonta to look for Paula today.
