Ever wonder where people can go to learn more about how to care for their horses? Whether you're new to owning horses, just started riding, or are looking for the latest on how to care for yours, this event could be perfect for you.

If you're looking for info on tack, mane and tail care, saddles, equine décor, feed, apparel, nutrition and more, they'll have it at WNY Equifest this Saturday and Sunday at the Hamburg Fairgrounds.  It's a huge expo for everyone in the horse industry including horse enthusiasts, owners, trainers, clinicians, riders and vendors.

They will start each day with an opening ceremony that will also highlight our Veterans and Active Military. Then each day has a full lineup of clinics, seminars and demos that will be presented by trainers, coaches and industry professionals including Laurelin Farm, Lorick Farms, Braveheart Beasts, Eternal Flame Mounted Archery, Rosehill Ranch, and EquiFirst Aid East Coast.

Think you can rope better than the rest?  They will have roping competitions that you can join, or just watch.

Plus they will have appearances by rodeo queens like:

  • ·         Miss First Frontier Circuit – Brittany Doyle from Fineview, NY
  • ·         Miss Teen First Frontier Circuit – Payton Martin from Glen Aubrey, NY
  • ·         Lil Miss First Frontier Circuit – Leah Rose Griffith from Whitney Point, NY
  • ·         Miss Teen Rodeo New York – McKenzie Ray from Sprakers, NY
  • ·         Lil’ Miss Rodeo New York – Isabella Hearn from Fort Plain, NY

The WNY Equifest will take place at the Hamburg Fairgrounds on Saturday and Sunday March 18th and 19th from 9am-4pm each day.  Parking and admission are free.  For a full schedule of presentations and events, click here.
