You may have heard that as much as $330 per child will be sent out to various families in New York State. However, this time there is money included for families with kids under 4 years old.

Most checks will be sent before the end of the month of August and, according to multiple reports, families eligible for these one-time payments do not need to apply, as checks will be mailed directly.

Previously, the checks were only available to families with kids between 4 and 17 years old. This change will be huge for those with little ones who are in diapers or are starting pre-k and other day cares.

In her post on "X", New York State's Governor Hochul announced that: "$350 million in supplemental payments are going to families statewide through the Empire State Child Credit program starting TODAY. That’s money going to bills, school supplies, and more".
