It was weird how things went down with Stefon Diggs in Buffalo. First, he's taking pictures on the back of Josh Allen, and they're being called BFFs. Then, what seems like a short time after that, we see him screaming at Allen on the sidelines during a playoff game. That's when things got strange. The Bills began holding closed-door meetings with Diggs, and even Coach McDermott came right out and said that he was concerned about him.

Then, he was traded away.

Last year's reunion with Diggs and Allen seemed like a business meeting

The Bills headed to Houston last year to take on Diggs and the Texans. The Bills lost that game, and the postgame handshakes were strange. So what will it be like this week when Diggs comes back?

Diggs has moved on. The Buffalo Bills have moved on. Diggs is the man in New England with a new quarterback and a fully healed ACL. Allen is still the man in Buffalo. They don't have to be BFFs. They're football players. They won't even be on the field at the same time.

Dion Dawkins was asked what he thought about Diggs' return, and he seemed to have a very thoughtful answer. The overwhelming theme of it was that they love him and they wish him well.

Diggs seemed to have the same feelings towards the city of Buffalo, the Bills Mafia, and, as he said, "even some of the players" here in Buffalo.

We will see what happens on Sunday night as the Bills face off against the Patriots Sunday night at Highmark Stadium.
