Notice This At Rite Aid In New York State?
The new school year is about to begin and kids across New York State are getting ready to start the new routine! For families who are trying to get those last minute school supplies, there was some disappointment over the weekend.
There are few things as exciting and, in some cases, scary as going back to school for the first day. However, once the first couple of days are in the books, things start to calm down.
But in the whirlwind of getting ready, it was a frustrating weekend as they tried to get supplies from their local Rite Aid store.
As Rite Aid stores across the country are closing, there are some that are still open. However, the shelves at many of these stores are almost completely empty! What is going on? Are ALL the stores closing?
According to at least one viewpoint posted recently, the theory is that the pharmacy giant is trying to save some money for bankruptcy by limiting inventory. However, it is so annoying when you need something and find there is nothing available in the store.
This has been the case in stores in towns like Hamburg and East Aurora in Western New York and the same for others across New York State.
Recently, CVS stores also closed across the state. For most who need a local pharmacy, many grocery chains are offering to take them as new customers.
