$400 Checks Arrive Starting Today For New York State Families

New York State families will start seeing up to $400 checks coming in the mail from New York State! You do not have to do ANYTHING and they will arrive right to your mailbox, as they were sent out starting this past Friday.

It is called the New York State Inflation Refund Check.

When do the New York State Inflation Refund Checks Come?

IMPORTANT: If your neighbor gets a check today don't be worried if you do not get yours for a few days because the way they are sending them out is random and has NOTHING to do with zip code or where you live. So, if you keep hearing everyone else getting one just hold tight. YOU WILL NOT GET A CHECK IF: You file your taxes single and you make over 150k or if you are joint and you made over 300k

Over 8.2 million families will be getting the check in the mail because basically, New York State did not budget properly and over-charged everyone in New York State. Now, not EVERYONE is getting a check and not everyone is getting $400.

Here is how much money you will be getting. It is all based on how much you claimed on your last tax return and if you are single or have joint filed in New York State. The checks were starting to be sent on Friday in the mail so expect them in the next couple of weeks.

• $400 for joint filers with income up to $150,000
• $300 for joint filers with income over $150,000, but no more than $300,000
• $200 for single filers with income up to $75,000
• $150 for single filers with income over $75,000, but no more than $150,000
