REPORT: Keon Coleman Injured His Foot In Preseason Opener
Fans are keeping an eye on Keon Coleman after he showed up to practice today wearing a boot on his right foot. It appears as if he was injured during the first preseason game of the year.
One of the main goals for NFL teams in the preseason is to make it through without injury. But it looks as though one of the Bills' starting wide receivers will be dealing with one.
Keon Coleman has in injured foot/toe
According to NFL insider Cameron Wolfe, it's a sprained foot/toe that has landed Coleman in a boot on the sidelines today.
Obviously it's tough to find the play where it happened for sure, but an account called Banged Up Bills may have found it.
The good news about Keon's injury
It appears to be a non-issue with coach Joe Brady. He didn't seem very concerned with it even though Coleman missed time at practice today and was seen walking in a boot. It could be something a little less serious and the boot is just a precaution.
While no one ever wants a player to get injured, if it has to happen, this might be the best time of the season for it to occur. It's early enough that he has a chance to heal up before the games start to actually count. You just hope it's not something like turf toe that could linger on for weeks or months.
Coleman doesn't seem too bothered by it.
If the injury did happen on Saturday, it doesn't seem to be bothering him much. He was spotted at the Erie County Fair on Monday night according to the Bills Mafia Babes. He was playing games and giving prizes to kids in the area when he won!
