Airline Offers New Non-Stop Flights To Tropical Areas From Buffalo
It has only been snowing for a couple of weeks in Western New York, but if you're already planning your next trip to a tropical destination, JetBlue is now adding service and non-stop flights to new destinations for 2026.
Jet Blue is now offering non-stop flights from Buffalo to two much warmer destinations
Today, JetBlue announced that they would be offering non-stop flights from Buffalo to San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU) and Fort Myers, Florida (RSW). The flights to Puerto Rico will take place on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday starting on March 27, 2026. The flights to Fort Myers will run on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday beginning March 26, 2026.
Non-Stop flights are the way to go
If you've ever flown a non-stop flight, you know how much more convenient they are. They're faster because you avoid having to get off a flight and then get on another one. Twice, I've had it happen that I've had no trouble with my first flight, but then after the layover, the second plane on my trip experienced trouble and couldn't fly. Then you're stuck in a city far away and have to make your own arrangements. When you fly non-stop, you don't have to worry about things like that. You get on a plane, and you get off at your final destination. Sometimes they can be more expensive, but they're completely worth the money. It's easily the best way to fly, in my opinion.
They've got promotional prices for these flights
If you're ready to book now, they suggest that you don't wait. They've got special promotional pricing for these two destinations and they're crazy low.
JetBlue will offer limited-time introductory fares, now available for purchase on jetblue.com:
- Buffalo to Fort Myers starting at $59 one-way
- Buffalo to San Juan starting at $99 one-way
I just checked to see what it would cost to fly to Puerto Rico this month and it varies from $182 to $501 and that's not even non-stop.
