This will add a whole new level of difficulty to Sunday's game if he isn't able to play.

Each week, an injury list is provided to the media to show who participated and their level of participation in practice. It comes out a couple of times because it is updated throughout the week. This week, a concerning name was there, that hadn't been there before today.

Ed Oliver is dealing with a foot injury

One of the best pieces of news, aside from the Bills' win last Sunday night against the Ravens to start the season, was that there were no injuries to report. However, it appears as though one may have popped up throughout the week.

Today, Ed Oliver was listed on the injury report with an ankle injury.

At this point, there's no word on what could have landed him there. He seemed to come out of the game on Sunday healthy.

Buffalo Bills sideline reporter Sal Capaccio says that when they went into the locker room after the Bills' walkthrough, Oliver was playing ping pong with another teammate, but was wearing a boot on his left foot.

Oliver was a standout against the Ravens

This will be a blow to the Bills if they have to travel into New York without Oliver anchoring that defensive line. He was a standout against Baltimore and ended up making the play that shifted the momentum to the Bills by stripping Derrick Henry in the last couple of minutes of the game. If the Bills are going to make it to 2-0 they're going to need to keep Breece Hall in check and ensure that Justin Fields doesn't have any time to run himself or find Garrett Wilson.

Jets' cornerback Sauce Gardner also showed up as "limited" on the Jets' injury report for today.

Oliver has not been ruled out for Sunday yet.
