When you live in one of the most expensive states in the country, you have to find a creative way to make some extra cash to stay afloat. 

Of course, many people take on a second job, but that may not be enough for some New York residents depending on what their career is. New York offers an average salary of $74,870, which doesn’t sound too bad; however, you typically need $96,814 annually to be able to support a family
